Yunnan Baiyao is manufactured by a scientific process from famous and precious medicinal materials indigenous to Yunnan, It has for decades been employed with remarkable effect and widely reputed, both in China and abroad.

FUNCTION AND INDICATION

Resolve stasis and stop bleeding, activate blood and relieve pain, detoxify and disperse swelling. Use in traumatic injury, swelling and pain caused by blood stasis, hematemesis, hemoptysis, hematochezia, hemorrhoidal bleeding, flooding and spotting, sore and ulcer, contusion: of soft tissue, closed fracture, hemoptysis caused by bronchiectasis and pulmonary tuberculosis, ulcerous hemorrhage and infective diseases of skin.

USAGE AND DOSAGE

For external use: Apply appropriate amount to bleeding wounds or affected area.

Oral administration: For knife wound, bullet wound and traumatic injury, no matter how severe it was, or wounds with bleeding occurred, administer medicine with warm boiled water. Swelling and pain caused by blood stasis, or wounds without bleeding, administer medicine with liquor. For gynaecological diseases, administer medicine with liquor; for profuse menstruation and mehorrhagia, administer powder with warm boiled water. For initial onset of sore and ulcer, orally administer 0.25g, meanwhile, take the powder to mix well with liquor, apply the mixture to the affected area; for suppurative sore, orally administer only. For other internal hemorrhage symptoms, orally administer powder. DOSAGE: Orally administer, 0.25g-0.5g each time, 4 times daily (tor children: 2-5 years old, take 1/4 of the dose; 6-12 years old, take 1/2 of the dose;) For severe traumatic injury, administer 1 safety pill firstly; for slight injury and other disease, safety pill is not needed. CAUTION

Yunnan Baiyao is prohibited for pregnant women, Broad bean, fish, sour or cold food should not be taken within one day after taking the powder.
