History

Rendells is a spermicidal contraceptive pessary developed by W.J.Rendell Limited in United Kingdom some 100 years ago. With substantial investment in research and development, formulation of Rendells has been continuously refined. At present, Rendells is a popular female contraceptive with distribution in over 30 countries and areas all over the world.

Directions

One pessary should be placed as high as possible into the vagina 3-5 minutes before intercourse. If ejaculation does not take place within 30 minutes, another pessary should be inserted. For a few months after childbirth, two Rendells should be used. Provided that the directions are carefully followed, no further precautions for contraception of any kind need to be taken.

Double Action, Double Protection

The double action of Rendells ensures that sperms are immobilised or killed by the powerful spermicidal action of Nonoxynol - 9. Besides, it can improve the hygiene condition of vagina. The excipient of Rendells serves well as a lubricant and facilitates sex life.

As a safe and effective contraceptive, Rendells is widely available over the counter without prescription. Trials comparing Rendells with other chemical contraceptives showed that 69% of women preferred Rendells to all other contraceptives they had used.

Special Notes

Rendells dissolves rapidly and completely at body temperature. If it melts in blister pack under exceptionally hot weather, simply place the whole blister pack in warm water until the pessaries inside become entirely liquid. Then leave in a refrigerator or cold water with rounded part stand down until the pessaries solidify. Its quality and efficacy will be in no way affected.

No douching within six hours after sexual intercourse.

Contraindications

People with suspected malignant tumor(s) along the reproductive tract or those with irregular vaginal bleeding should seek medical advice before use.
